Another season is behind me, once again filled with interesting events and new experiences. In April this year, I started riding a new motorcycle – the Gas Gas TXT 300 Racing 2023 model. After a long time, it's a significantly modified model with a completely new frame, different geometry, new plastics, and design. It took me a while to adapt to the motorcycle, but I can confirm that it represents great progress. Particularly, I appreciate the new concept of geometry, which is more oriented towards sport riding.
Throughout the year, I participated in approximately 25 different exhibitions – ranging from corporate events, city festivals, to firefighter celebrations and balls. I traveled across almost the entire republic and met many new people, which was associated with great experiences!
In the racing field this year, I participated in two open events – in Nihošovice and Sklenka, where I managed to win. There were a total of four racing weekends as part of the International Championship of the Czech Republic. I had been unbeaten for seven years, but this year the first place was taken by the talented youngster David Fabián, to whom I extend my congratulations! 😊 I finished in second place. I did not participate in one of the racing weekends in Kyselka because I preferred to attend exhibitions in France. However, there I injured myself before the performance – I tore my calf on a footpeg. Unfortunately, this meant I could not participate in either the exhibitions or the races. Furthermore, I represented the Czech Republic at the Trial of Nations in France along with David Fabián and Martin Křoustek. The competition was held in the Alpine town of Auron with its beautiful nature, where we achieved a nice third place in the International Trophy category.
Besides the aforementioned activities, I dedicated myself to individual moto trial courses, where I passed on my experiences and skills to clients. We also expanded our training area in Dolní Čermná this year – we removed old obstacles, built a new embankment, and fitted it with sandstone rocks, totaling about 200 tons. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Pardubice Region for co-financing and Tekam Záměl s.r.o. for providing the sandstone rocks.
To conclude, I would like to boast about a new addition to my family – a gravel bike, which I have named Mr. Štěrkolet. A friend from SingleBe custom-made and painted the frame for me, and I assembled the rest by myself. It's truly a beauty, and I enjoy riding it immensely! 😊
